The Web Producer is responsible for monitoring, improving, developing and overseeing our award-winning website, mustangnews.net.  The Web Producer should work with the Digital Platform Editor to help publish articles to the website in a timely manner with all photo, video, and multimedia elements included. The Web Producer should troubleshoot any problems with the website, which can range from fixing errors to redesigning parts of the site.

In addition, the web editor should will work with primarily with the Digital Platform Editor and section editors to develop new, interactive ways to tell stories on the web and further the digital brand. The Web Editor will be responsible for brainstorming and executing new ways to publish content in a creative manner.

Required Skills: WordPress CMS, CSS and PHP. JavaScript and iOS app development a plus.
