Mustang Media Group is expanding the Mustang News en Español section, which was established during the 2021-22 school year to provide Spanish translations of our stories.

Applicants must be proficient in speaking, writing and reading Spanish. People interested in reporting in a language other than Spanish may still apply, however can only be accepted if an editor in that language is also available.

Responsibilities:

• Attend weekly Sunday editorial staff meetings
• Collaborate with the Editor-in-Chief/Managing Editor to decide which stories should be translated each week
• Turn in translations to the Mustang News en Español editor on deadline
• Work alongside social media editors to develop social media-native content and promote your stories via social platforms

No multimedia or reporting experience is required.
