Mustang Media Group’s (MMG) Special Sections Editor is in charge of assigning, editing and ultimately publishing all of editorial content for all MMG special edition publications.
This includes Go SLO, Poly Picks and various other issues that we provide to the Cal Poly campus community throughout the year. This position also involves managing a team of special sections writers and coordinating with Mustang Business clients to assign, edit and publish sponsored articles.
The Special Sections Editor also works closely with Mustang Business’s graphic designers and the ad sales teams to collaborate for all of the special editions. Eligible applicants should have some experience with editing (JOUR 334 is great) and/or PR writing.
Compensation: $17/hour
