Starting fall semester, Mustang Media Group will have a cohort program specifically for those interested in art, design and photography. The program aims to better transition and train students to be a member of Mustang Media Group.
WHAT THEY WILL DO: Each member of the program will rotate through different artistic teams in the organization, such as the MN Photo Team, KCPR Art Team, MN Design Team, etc. This will give them the opportunity to explore MMG and will prepare them to apply for a permanent position. Some examples of responsibilities may include:
- Shadowing photographers on game days
- Creating a graphic for a story
- Taking photos for a breaking news story
All candidates chosen will be required to attend weekly Sunday meetings during the ten weeks from 5:00-5:50 p.m. All applicants will be contacted regardless of selection. Selected applicants will be sent information for an interview. Candidates chosen for the program will be required to attend an orientation training.
