The lead sports video director will be tasked with creating and highlighting video sports content on Mustang News as well as working with the video team to create live streamed sports content such as Mustang Gameday and other special live events.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee the creation of sports video content for Mustang News
• Plan, produce and organize Mustang Gameday broadcast productions, a live Cal Poly sports pre-game show
• Manage any sports related video content such as Poly Playbook, game recap videos and sports content for social media platforms
• Coordinate closely with Cal Poly Athletics to schedule interviews
• Use and assist reporters with industry standard software, including Adobe Premiere
• Act as a point of contact for all sports video content
• Work directly with Mustang News sports editor and Mustang News video manager to ensure content is aligned across MMG platforms
